    With his statements, Gamaliel de Jesús Ramírez Andrade violated the rights to equality, fair treatment and committed acts of discrimination against persons with HIV / AIDS and homosexuals, cited the State Human Rights Commission of Jalisco (CEDHJ).

    The president of the CEDHJ said it was "unfortunate" that the Regidor identified gays as the cause of HIV / AIDS, as the statistics of the Jalisco Health Department show that in 1983 more than 90 percent of people with HIV were homosexual and in 1993 dropped to 60 percent in 2009 to about 50 percent.

    "Believing and informing the public that HIV / AIDS is itself caused by homosexuals is a setback in combating this epidemic," he lamented.

A well organized website could function as an electronic clearing house for sharing information, for posting problems, for demanding solutions, for developing and communicating action plans.     Participate

    Post new topics, comment on other postings and create your own blog, all of which is automatically translated into 51 other languages and made available to search engines throughout the world. As actup.org grows, registered members will take a larger role in participating in the evolution of the mission of actup.org.

    Volunteer

    When traffic to forums warrant additional oversight, volunteer moderator roles will be sought and nominated. Moderators will have the ability within their own forum to promote individual postings to appear on actup.org's front page as well as ensure the integrity of the forum.     Organize
